We are exclusively supporting QuickBooks Online in 2025.

What kind of services do you provide?

Fully managed bookkeeping and accounting that can handle everything from your AP, AR, and bank reconciliations through your month-end close and financial reporting. We do not offer tax services but we have expert tax partners we can refer you to!

Who is a good fit for your apps?

Businesses on QuickBooks Online who care about their books being done accurate and quickly, and accounting firms who serve them.

Accruer automates accrual accounting, while Booker can help with any other journal entries. Wrangler is a lightweight and affordable reporting tool to share financials with your stakeholders or yourself without the constant logging in and downloading of manual reporting.

What's your story?

FinOptimal was founded as a side-hustle in 2015 by Jesse Rubenfeld, a CPA and self-taught Python developer. During his time as Limewire's CFO and D.E. Shaw Research's Controller, Jesse wrote software to save himself and his small team countless hours, eventually shrinking a 40-hour week down to just three hours. He began taking on clients and created FinOptimal, using the his software to keep the business lean while still providing exception accounting work for businesses of all industries and sizes. In October 2021, FinOptimal secured a round of funding from investors and is now leading the accounting automation revolution from the front.
