FinOptimal began in 2015 as a side-hustle of a CFO and Controller who despised manual accounting work. FinOptimal raised venture capital in late 2021 to expand our accounting and technology offerings. In 2023 we launched our flagship app Accruer, surprising and delighting the accounting world with the game changing automation that originally made us successful. We’ve since launched our second and third apps, Booker and Wrangler, with many more to follow.

FinOptimal eliminates manual accounting work in a unique way. Many potential clients are naturally skeptical of how easy our apps make things look. It is critical that this person be able to listen closely to a potential client’s needs and concerns, and effectively demonstrate how our apps can help. An understanding of accounting concepts and standard accounting processes is crucial to fostering trust with prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will combine a solid foundation in accounting with strong sales skills and the ability to understand and explain technology solutions. They should be able to speak the language of accountants while effectively demonstrating how our apps can solve their specific challenges.
Title and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
